Team Structure

Mighty Legacy Cheer

For youngest participants (Grades K–3)

Junior Legacy Cheer

For intermediate participants (Grades 4–5)

Little Red Legacy Cheer

For older participants (Grades 6–8)

*Team placement may vary based on skill level.

Practice Schedule

Teams will practice one to two times per week. Specific days and times will be shared by each team’s coach based on age group and availability.

Performance Opportunities

Athletes will support their age group’s football team with sideline cheers and halftime performances during games held on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the season. As part of our move to SMYFL, football teams will now travel for some games, which means sideline cheer teams should also expect some travel during the season. Sideline rules will follow SMYFL guidelines.
