Exciting News!

We are thrilled to announce that our Little Red Raiders team will be joining the Southern Maine Youth Football League (SMYFL) and competing in Division 1, which will include 14 teams! We are accepted for the upcoming season as a probationary membership and will be revisited at the beginning of next season if this is a good fit for all.

This is a significant step forward for our program. The RYFL’s mission has always been to prioritize player safety, foster a love for the game through skill development and purpose, and promote integrity both on and off the field. The SMYFL’s mission— Provide an instructional youth football league to encourage and nourish the physical and mental growth of young athletes by offering an organized tackle football program with the sole purpose of instruction and fun.

This partnership represents an ideal match, and we are confident it will provide our players with the best possible experience as they grow both as athletes and individuals. The travel will be less on our families as well. 

We’ll continue to keep our RYFL community updated on our progress throughout the season. A huge thank you to SMYFL for the warm welcome and support—we’re excited for what lies ahead!
